Dell Streak US pre-sale begins next week
If you signed up for the 24-hour Dell Streak pre-sale (and I assume that most of you here did), then you probably read the short FAQ at the bottom of the sign-up page that explained how Dell would be sending out emails with unique purchase links and coupon codes for the 99¢ Plantronics Bluetooth Headset.
Missing from that FAQ, of course, was any information about timing or price.
The latter is still unknown (baffling!) but the former has been clarified by Lionel Menchacha (Dell's chief blogger) on Direct2Dell. According to him, the email will be sent out next week.
Considering next week is the last week in July, which is as late in the month as you can get, this isn't a surprise. But since we're forced to scrounge around for scraps of information like this, "next week" is newsworthy.
How much earlier than the general public do you think pre-sale registrants will be able to order the Streak? Just for the duration of the event?
