Download the Dell Streak user’s manual
Various support documents for the Dell Streak have been available on the company's US website for a few weeks now, but the user's manual still isn't there. Why the support guides (of all things!) preceded the device's release is anyone's guess, but its early inclusion on the Dell site seems to suggest that the Streak will be here very soon.
If you're anxiously awaiting its arrival, then you've probably already read the five guides (Quick Reference, Connection Guide, Troubleshooting, Security and Software Reset, Dell PC Suite Synchronization) cover-to-cover to get your regular Streak fix. And I'm sure by now you want more.
So assuming you haven't already seen it on the Dell UK site, here's the full 140-page Dell Streak User's Manual (PDF, version 1.00) that came preloaded on my US beta device.
I haven't found any inconsistencies between the manual and the actual unit, though I'm guessing that the final US manual might include something about T-Mobile or AT&T.
Sometimes product manuals have a specs chart in the back, but this one doesn't. I was hoping it did because we really need to find out which 3G bands the production version supports. As a reminder, the UK model supports UMTS 900/2100 while the US beta version's got UMTS 2100/1900/850, which means 3G for AT&T but not T-Mobile.
