HTC EVO user receives Seidio 3500mAh battery, breaks latches by next day

Evo-seidio-3500mah-ship (1) G&E reader TC just received the massive Seidio Innocell 3500mAh battery ($53.99 at Amazonir?t=goodandevo 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B003SNIR7Y - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here) for his HTC EVO.

The battery, which began shipping a few weeks ago, comes with a replacement back cover to accommodate its thickness. Unfortunately, TC has already broken two of the latches that keep the cover attached to the EVO while trying to remove it, and he's only had it for one day!

The missing latches don't appear to have affected the cover's ability to stay on the phone and I'm sure it isn't difficult to break small pieces of plastic, but it's enough to put some doubt about build quality into the minds of prospective buyers.

Two more shots of the new battery below.

The back case may be able to stay on without two of its latches, but I don't think we're supposed to be able to see so much of the EVO's red insides.

Thanks for the pics, TC!
