Qik for HTC EVO 4G updated to support Android 2.2

Evo-qik-froyoHTC has previously announced that the EVO will "most likely" get updated to Android 2.2 (Froyo) in the second half of 2010. Since we're living in that half right now, it kind of goes without saying that the latest version of the OS will be coming soon.

Exactly how soon is unknown, so it's encouraging to see that Qik for HTC EVO 4G (the Qik app designed specifically for the EVO) has recently been updated to add support for Froyo. Whether Qik knows something we don't know about the timing of the upcoming release or the company just wants to make sure the app works for anyone using a Froyo-based ROM, at least we know that video chatting will work immediately after the official 2.2 update is available.

Do you know of any other EVO-specific apps (assuming they exist) that just received an update to add support for Froyo?

Thanks, Mikesan!
