AT&T Dell Streak free of AT&T branding and bloatware

Streak-no-bloat

If you thought it was strange that the Dell Streak isn't packaged in the AT&T's typical orange and white box, the carrier actually doesn't appear anywhere on the box, and the device bears no branding other than the standard Dell logo on the back, then get ready because it's about to get even stranger.

This may not be the case with the subsidized version, but the unsubsidized yet still AT&T-locked Streak doesn't come with any AT&T bloatware. Not a lick of it. No AT&T Family Map, no AT&T Hot Spots, no AT&T Maps, no AT&T Music, no AT&T Navigation, no AT&T Radio. Nothing.

How weird is that? When has anyone ever bought an AT&T phone that wasn't covered with AT&T's fingerprints? I still can't believe it.
