How to put Dell Streak in bootloader mode after Android 2.1 update

Streak-bootloader

Before applying the Android 2.1 update, the Dell Streak could be put into bootloader mode by holding down the camera button while powering on the device. After the update, however, this doesn't work.

Here's what to do instead:

  1. Hold down the power button first.
  2. When the capacitive buttons light up, hold down the camera button.
  3. Continue to hold down both buttons until the white bootloader screen appears.
