Streak Vibrations disables all Dell Streak vibrations

Streak-sv

If you've ever searched for the setting that controls the vibration of the capacitive touch buttons on the Dell Streak, then you know it doesn't exist. Haptic feedback can be disabled throughout the entire system very easily, yet for some reason the option isn't given for the capacitive controls. So your poor thumb always gets buzzed when it's doing nothing more than pressing the Back, Menu, or Home button.

Give the little guy a break and get Streak Vibrations, an app for rooted Streaks created by MoDaCo forum member JFDee that disables (and re-enables) all vibrations with a simple tap. Nice!

Just to be clear, disabling “all vibrations” also means the vibrate on ring will cease to function.

Dell needs to have some settings for these feedback vibrations. They need to have the option to disable them completely. But, also, they need to turn it off when the phone is in “silent” mode because it does make noise when you’re trying to keep things quiet as a consideration to those around you.

I know some people were looking how to disable the vibrate on the capacitive buttons for a while and glad there is a solution, but i myself like them. Although the streaks haptic feedback is a bit stronger than other devices i’ve used, i can live with it.
