Viliv N5 with 128GB SSD heading to Japan in September

Viliv_n5_128gb

The Viliv N5 previously reviewed by Jenn is undoubtedly one of the best ultra portable Windows PCs currently on the market. Those of you who have been considering getting one but feel the stock 32GB SSD with only 13GB available is too small for your needs will be delighted to hear that the company is launching a version with a much higher capacity SSD later this year.

Announced for release in Japan by Hanwha, a 128GB SSD variant of the N5 will be available in September, although the exact date and price are currently unknown. It's also uncertain whether this high capacity variant is exclusively for Japan or will also be offered internationally, meaning interested customers may need to rely on importers such as Dynamism and GeekStuff4U when it is released. Hopefully we will get more details in the coming weeks, but this is definitely a positive development for road warriors who require lots of storage for their files, data, and software.
