HD music video shot with HTC EVO 4G

Evo-hd-mv The HTC EVO's 8-megapixel rear camera is a far cry from a professional camera, but it's proven to be more than capable of taking great outdoor photos and macro images (with a lens attachment). We've seen it set up in a pro video rig before and now, thanks to G&E reader More Attitude Raw Skill, we can see how it does well called upon to record a music video.

Shot in HD with the EVO (stock camera app and grayscale effect), the raw footage was imported into Windows Movie Maker where some fades, transitions, and screen blurs were added. Before the latest software update, which is when the video was shot, the EVO would sometimes freeze when recording HD video (the update appears to have fixed this), so an old movie effect was added over the freeze frames to make them a part of the finished product. Other than the effects, though, nothing else was done to enhance the video quality.

Check it out below.

Thanks, More Attitude Raw Skill!
