RAmos W9 caught in the wild and revealed in newly released images
Back in mid-August when we first caught a glimpse of the camera shy RAmos W9, we only had three images of the back and sides and a few details to tease us. But now, thanks to the team over at PC Online, we have a more comprehensive look at an engineering prototype of the upcoming tablet.
The new images clearly show the tablet's sleek, minimalist iPad-esque design, with a white back, brushed metal sides, and 7-inch screen. A range of microSD, 3.5mm headphone out, micro-B USB, and AC power ports are also evident. Not many new technical details have been extracted from the prototype apart from confirmation that it will use a newer, more powerful processor (reportedly the 1GHz Rockchip RK2818) and definitely ship with Android 2.1 if not newer. Still no confirmation of a release date and price either, so stay tuned for an official announcement with that information in the near future. Browse the rest of the new images for yourself and let us know what you think after the jump.
