Good and EVO

Amazon now selling HTC EVO 4G for $179.99

Evo-amazon-17999

After selling the HTC EVO 4G for the standard $199.99 (with two-year contract) for months, Amazon is finally offering what most customers expect from them: a lower price.

The company isn't allowed to display the reduced price until you add the phone to your shopping cart (it's one of those "see price in cart" listings), but when you do, you'll see that it's now being sold for $179.99. It isn't a deep discount by any means, but $20 saved is better than $20 spent if you end up with an EVO in both scenarios.

Availability has changed from its previous "in stock" status to "usually ships within 3-4 weeks," though, so you'll have to decide whether time or money is more important to you.
