Circular Battery Indicator adds color to battery stats on HTC EVO 4G

Evo-circlebi If you want all the functionality of Darshan Computing's Battery Indicator but presented in a more colorful casino chip kind of way, then check out irkan's Circular Battery Indicator available now in the xda-developers forum (link below).

Like the open-source app it's based on, Circular Battery Indicator lives in the notification area of your HTC EVO's status bar and displays the current remaining battery percentage. Pulling down the notification shade shows the overall health, current temperature, and voltage readout of the battery.

The only difference between the two apps (other than availability in the Market) is design. While Battery Indicator uses a standard battery icon, Circular Battery Indicator uses—you guessed it—a circular icon. It's actually a bit fancier than it sounds because of the gradient color fill that automatically changes according to the current charge. Check out the image below to see all 100 icons used in this app.

Pretty nice, huh?

Circular Battery Icon isn't in the Market right now, so you'll need to hit the link or scan the QR code below to get it.
