Seidio now shipping HTC EVO desktop charging cradle

Seidio-evo-cradleSeidio's desktop charging cradle for the HTC EVO 4G was "under development"when we first saw it in July. It's been fine-tuned and redesigned since then, and it's now shipping for $34.95 (cradle only) and $39.95 (cradle and travel charger).

The cradle features the company's "signature soft touch coating" and is compatible with the extended battery and case thanks to a removable plate. There's an LED and micro USB port on the back for connecting to a computer or USB charger.

The old "for illustration purposes only" design looked better to me, but this one is simple and would probably look fine (albeit rather boring) on any desk, table, or nightstand.

I'm still pretty soured by the Innodock Jr. cradle, but I suppose this one is worth considering since it was actually designed specifically for the EVO. Whether it's better than the other cradles that have extra compartments to charge a second battery is up to you and your wallet to decide.

[Seidio] Thanks, Evonator!
