While free Skype-to-Skype calls over WiFi are possible [update: hacked version allows calls over 3G], chat and call forwarding are included, you can choose how/whether you want your Skype contacts to sync with your Android contacts list, and the UI is clean (see screenshot below), video calls aren't supported. Now granted, front-facing cameras are still far from being a standard feature and most Android phones don't have them, but it's still hard not to feel let down considering how long many people have waited for Skype to become available for the OS and how high expectations have been.
I don't doubt that video calling will be added at some point (maybe there'll even be a special Skype for EVO app; anything is possible considering the existence of Qik for HTC EVO 4G) and a limited Skype is better than no Skype at all, but it's still a shame that the feature didn't make it in the launch version.
