Stealth Guard full body HTC EVO protection slashed to $0 for a limited time
Want to shield your entire HTC EVO 4G with a clear military-grade scratch-resistant skin for nothing more than the few bucks it takes to cover the cost of shipping? Then get over to StealthGuards.com as quickly as a mouse click can take you there to take advantage of a limited time offer to let you do it. That's right. The company's full body set, which usually costs $14.99 plus shipping, can be yours for $0 plus shipping ($2.85 to most US cities).
G&E reader John received his full body shield just days after placing his order and says that the quality is very comparable to more expensive brands (like invisibleSHIELD, I presume). The skin itself, he says, is "just the right thickness and very soft and smooth."
[Stealth Guards] Thanks, John!
Ordered 2 for me and my fiancee! Thanks.. best part, shipping to Hawaii was reasonable.
Interestingly enough, I updated the quantity to 2 and the subtotal was still 0. 4.85 shipping though
just ordered mine, thanks GandE
Dont waste your money for shipping…You have almost recut the skins to remove from the paper (aka you get what you pay for)…check out xda or su for other opinions similar to mine…..
If you do manage to separate from the paper…I heard they work go. I dont know the quality becaise mine were ruined in the separation part
too early in the morning…use preview…lol
worked good

Please stop finding such good deals! I bought the otter case for my evo, but I’ve always wanted a clear case. ohh the humanity!
Questionable website. it asks me to enable cookies even when they’re enabled. Why would I have to enable cookies? It’s not like this on Amazon or other sites.
Just ordered two for myself, and hey if MsRandall is right, its not a big loss. Its worth a 2.85 investment. Thanks Jenn :)
I remember this same deal back a month ago?
But the website didn’t look safe enough so I gave up…
This deal has actually been going on for quite some time. I got mine over a month ago. They will come in a plain envelope, with no installation instructions(just directs you to the website). I also comes with no solution or bubble removing slider like Zagg.
Overall, it’s decent. I have had Zagg, Stealth Gaurdz, and a dry application screen protector that came with Case Mate. The Stealth Guard isn’t much worse than the Zagg quality wise, although you may need an exacto knife to get it out of the plastic mold perfectly. I only put the front and back on. The front came off SEVERAL times when I used the cheap TPU case(also reviewed on G&E). I’m using the protector that came with Case Mate now. It’s superior to both and doesn’t have that tacky, sticky feel. These are dust magnets for those who intend to just carry the phone in your pocket.
Best Buy messed my Invisible Shield install, or putting the case on did. Anyway I paid almost $30 for that. So I ordered 3 of these, why not for only $7 total. I figure if they don’t separate correctly etc.. I have extra :)
I also already have the solution and bubble card from the Zagg.
I ordered 4 last week for $8.45 in shipping…. They came just fine. You have to use a water solution on your phone to make them work, and I am weary of doing that with the EVO. any thoughts?
Don’t waste your money. I ordered this few weeks ago and as others have stated, it is of marginal quality.
Feel sorry for people who wasted $15 for this before they dropped the price to $3: Cost to make each sheet is pennies even after factoring in initial costs (make template, send to Chinese factories, get bids.)
Totally agree. Sketchy site. No thanks..this is why I have insurance on my EVO, if/when it gets scratched bad enough to warrant replacing, I’ll file a claim and pay 100.00.
The screen is glass..it’s not going to scratch easily. I’ve tried (and promptly returned) Zaggs product. You lose the nice smooth touch when you apply these silly things to your screen. My .02cents
Sweet, Just got mine @ 1:45 eastern. They can’t do this for long.
Thanks Jen! :)
I regards to some of the above comments, Don’t want to give them your info? Just use paypal to check out.
considering it fits in a 42cent envelope, I’d hope they charge reasonably; i live in hawaii too – i was hoping they’d combine shipping (which i emailed them about)…
Exactly what I was thinking. I got the same message to enable cookies (that are already enabled). So, I thought I’d come here to see if others were experiencing the same thing. Stay away, people.
I’m gonna have to pass. SKETCHY is right.
Wish I had thought of using paypal rather than my CC. Oh well. I ordered 2 and then one for my iPod touch. We’ll see how these come out. I was hoping they would combine my orders but I have yet to hear back from them.
Benn looking around some more and it looks like they have no privacy policy. Also, the email I got to confirm my order said Main Site Store. I am pretty sure I just gave all my info to a cyber criminal. :/ Ugh knew this was too good to be true
I have a Zagg which began as a full body coverage and I quickly learned that the side pieces are not only not necessary but after a while, the adhesive starts to seep through leaving little pieces of sticky residue all over the phone. I recommend that you get some coverage but don’t worry about the sides, bottom, and top because you will probably be tearing them off later, because they simply don’t stay on. Just a thought. (I ordered an otterbox too though for extra protection) ha.
I got 2 of these, they suck, not even worth the few bucks. The bubbles dont go away. And has a nasty grippy screen protector.
I got the otterbox. It looks nice, but has ZERO GRIP, its almost slippery. I think I prefer my old thick silicon case.
For 8 bucks and free shipping, this is what I did…

I bought the other brand (invisibleSHIELD) and yes it felt un-smooth at first. But after on for a few days its just as smooth as glass. I love my cover. I scratched my glass on a Blackberry Storm once and it was annoying. At least this way I can replace for free when it is damaged.
Best Buy will reinstall another for free because of the warranty. My rep at Best Buy did.

It isn’t just about credit card info. It’s essentially telling me to alter my browser’s security settings. MY worry, I can’t speak for everybody, is that it will install something on my computer such as a key logger, worm, trojan horse . . . I’d rather not be an unwitting participant in a DDOS attack against who knows what.
Ordered these for EVO and an Epic. Put the EVO one on today — no problems taking it off the paper and it went on easier and cleaner than any screen protector I’ve ever used since my Handspring. I put on the front and back, not sides yet (not sure if I will). Getting used to the slick feel, but after putting it on I ordered an Otterbox Commuter today so won’t be feeling it much longer anyway. It’s kinda cool feeling though, once I got used to it. No worries about the site since I’ve read LOTS of input from many different forums before ordering and not heard anything bad yet. Guess I’ll find out if otherwise …
Received my shields last week and followed instructions for installation as noted in the packaging (go to the web site for videos). I am impressed with the smoothness of the materials and could not be happier with the outcome. I was not going to place the shields on the sides and back of my phone but changed my mind after installing the front shield. It gave the back cover, which was formally flat black, a high gloss sheen which is very aesthetically pleasing. Total install time was about an hour. I would recommend this product to any individual who will take the time and effort to properly install.
Stick with the Otter. This is just plastic (think Reynolds Wrap) not a hard plastic case. If I paid $14.99 I’d be pissed. So they are making money off shipping cause it comes in a first class envelope, $.44 cents
I just got mine a few days ago, and they separated just fine. Work great, look great and why complain about paying less than 5$ for shipping two sets, when the Zaggs(sp) cost almost 30 bucks for one set, and they are almost identical products.
