Creative ZiiO tablet may be headed Stateside, shows up at FCC
Back at the beginning of this month when Creative first revealed its ZiiO Android tablets using the powerful ZiiLABS ZMS-08 processor incorporating a 1GHz Cortex-A8 core, the availability of the device was not confirmed. The company only disclosed its plans to launch in the European market in late November with a price of £199.99 (around US$322) for the 7-inch ZiiO 7 with 8GB of internal storage.
The chances of Creative also launching the device Stateside have now improved with the tablet's appearance over at the FCC for certification, posing in some new images showing some internals of the large li-on battery and motherboard. Still no official confirmation of the release date and pricing for the US, but developments are very much in motion for the ZiiO and we'll be keeping an eye out.
