Dell Streak now available in Canada

Streak-canada

On behalf of Canadian Streak fans, let's all jump up and shout "Finally!"

The Dell Streak is now available in Canada for use on the Rogers network. The device has already been released and/or launched in the US, Germany, France, the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, India, and possibly other countries, so it's about time that Canada got some love.

The device is locked to Rogers and is selling for $549.99 without a contract. Similar to many other regions, the Canadian Streak comes with a 16GB microSD card and is available in black only. There's no info on the Dell site about which version of Android is preloaded, but with Froyo expected to be released very soon, it may not matter if the device ships with Donut or Eclair. Let's just hope that the update isn't rolled out on the same staggered schedule that the actual device was released.

[Dell Canada] Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
