Rugged case for Seidio’s HTC EVO extended battery now shipping
It used to be that if you bought the Seidio 3500mAh extended battery for your HTC EVO, then the only case option you had was the company's Innocase Extended, a thin plastic shell that leaves the top and bottom of the phone completely exposed.
Now Seidio brings you another option in the form of the Innocase Extended Rugged. Manufactured specifically and exclusively for use with the existing Innocase Extended, the rugged case is made up of a 2.5mm thick silicone skin and a plastic skeleton for an added layer of protection. A rugged holster with a swiveling belt clip comes standard, and the camera and ports have silicone covers to keep them safe and clean when not in use.
There are three different Extended Rugged "packages" to choose from.
- Extended Rugged Add-On Kit ($29.95) includes the rugged skin/skeleton and holster. This is for people who already have the Innocase Extended case.
- Innocase Extended Rugged Holster Combo ($49.95) includes a screen guard, the standard extended case, the rugged skin/skeleton, and the rugged holster.
- Innocase Extended Rugged Value Pack ($69.95) includes everything in the Ruggest Holster Combo plus the standard extended holster.
The Innocase Extended Rugged skin/skeleton completely covers the kickstand, so you'll need to prop your EVO up against a rock or tree if you want to watch videos hands-free while you're out in rough-and-tumble environments.
