Angry Birds Seasons helps HTC EVO 4G get into the holiday spirit
Released today in Android Market is a holiday-themed spin-off of the insanely popular Angry Birds game that most HTC EVO 4G owners can't seem to stop playing.
The new game, called Angry Birds Seasons, features 25 Christmas and 45 Halloween levels (Angry Birds Halloween was released for iOS in October) to slingshot your way through. The Christmas episode is cleverly set up like an advent calendar to help you count down to the 25th, so you get to play a new level each day.
In-game ads lets Rovio Mobile offer this game free, though I don't think anyone would mind paying for it (even if it's priced higher than the $0.99 asking price in the App Store) to get rid of them. Sometimes the ads cover part of the pigs' tower unless you zoom out, which is pretty annoying.
Despite that, I think it's wonderful when companies release holiday editions of their products, so I'll definitely be playing Angry Birds Seasons every day until Christmas.
