Coca-Cola holiday live wallpaper keeps HTC EVO in Christmas spirit
Just because the calendar says that Christmas is over doesn't mean that we have to stop celebrating, right?
Our tree and decorations are still up, my daughter's new toys still haven't found their permanent spots in the house, I'm still using the holidays as an excuse to eat whatever I want, and I continue to check out festive live wallpapers for my HTC EVO.
The one I'm using now features a panoramic Coke-themed holiday scene with falling snow and various objects on the ground that can be controlled by the EVO's accelerometer and Santa Claus looming large in the background. It was inspired by this year's Coca-Cola holiday commerical (see video below) so it's supposed to look like he's peering into a snowglobe.
The wallpaper chomps on the battery the way Santa stuffs himself with milk and cookies on Christmas eve, but it's amusing to see the dog and some guy in a shopping cart slide around back and forth when I tilt the EVO. And as with a real snowglobe, shaking the phone creates a small snow flurry.
