iPad Today (Podcast)

I’ve been a fan of Leo Laporte for a long time. For those who don’t know the name, he makes podcasts. A lot of podcasts. His TWIT network has a couple of dozen shows by now and he’s part of most of them. I haven’t checked in on his podcasts since the summer so when I went by the site yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to see a new show called iPad Today.

iPad Today is an audio show with visuals, meaning that you can get by with listening to the audio version only but you will miss out on screenshots and other visuals (such as their amusing little app hats). Being a podcast it’s available on iTunes for free, and you can get several different versions depending on resolution and whether there’s video at all.

The show is a weekly show and covers basically anything iPad related. Leo Laporte and Sarah Lane are hosts and generally have a theme for each episode (such as productivity apps), news, app recommendations etc. I’ve already found several new apps to download and use since starting to watch the show so there is definitely a lot of great content in there. Think of it as a free weekly hour-long TV show about the iPad.
