WallStreak live wallpaper sets different static wallpapers on each Dell Streak home screen

Wallstreak It isn't often that anyone with Android 2.2 on their Dell Streak wants a feature from the original 1.6 build, but there are definitely some Froyo users out there lamenting the lost ability to set a different wallpaper on each home screen. The function was one of the most favorably received Dell customization in 1.6, particularly for those who were new to Android and unaware of the OS's parallax-scrolling wallpaper norm, and it seems a lot of people miss it.

Fortunately, our very own alkiera in the StreakSmart/Pocketables forum came up with a clever workaround. It's a live wallpaper called WallStreak that lets you select five different WVGA images to set as static wallpapers so that each screen displays a different image. In other words, it's what a lot of you liked about 1.6 on your Streak.

WallStreak version 0.8 was released back in October and has been confirmed to work on various Froyo builds on the Streak. I actuallly wanted to wait until alkiera put out version 1.0 to write about it, but since there are fewer 1.6-ers out there every day, I thought I should make sure that you guys knew about it now.
