Amazon Wireless adds contract extensions to HTC EVO purchase options

Evo-amawir-upgrade

New Sprint customers being able to purchase the HTC EVO 4G from Amazon Wireless for just $99.99 with a two-year Sprint contract isn't something we haven't heard of before. It was possible back in October, then again in November, and even again right now.

What couldn't be done the first few times the EVO went up for $100 that can be done now, however, is order the phone as an existing Sprint customer. Upgrades and add-ons were previously listed as "coming soon," and while adding a line to family account still isn't possible through Amazon Wireless' page, extending the contract on your individual or family account is.

The contract extension price is currently $179.99, which is obviously not as good as what new customers get to pay but is still better than the $199.99 that Sprint is offering for both new lines and upgrades.
