BlackBerry PlayBook impresses with silky smooth performance

I spent some time with the upcoming BlackBerry PlayBook today and even though the company rep said that the devices on display were only meant as previews and that nothing but the general design was final, I walked away quite impressed. Performance was really quick and the UI was incredibly smooth and enjoyable. I think my gadget wishlist just got longer.

Supposedly you don’t get an email app unless you tether it to a Blackberry? Is that true?

More comments like yours? No thanks!

Comments don’t meant shit on a tech blog. Look at a site like SlashGear. Millions of readers and 0 comments on almost all of the stories. It doesn’t really mean anything. The percentage of readers who bother to leave a comment is very small. Consider the reader:commenter ratio on Engadget. I bet less than 0.5% of readers comment.

Pocketables has never really had an active commenting community. Jenn’s other sites are much more active in that respect. I see some of her contents get over 500 comments. The most I’ve ever seen on contests here has been around 100 at best.

I respect that Jenn has other interests and priorities and continue to check in here on a regular basis. If you don’t like that she is not here as often as she used to be, then why are you here?
