BoxWave ElectraSpan 2700mAh extended battery available for HTC EVO

Evo-boxwave-electraspan We've seen this exact battery door/back cover replacement when it was being used to keep a 2200mAh extended battery safe inside the HTC EVO 4G and now here it again, only this time it's making sure that a 2700mAh battery stays in place.

That extra 500mAh must make a world of difference because BoxWave took the time to wrap the battery in its own custom white wrapper, complete with the EVO listed as the regulatory model number (click image for larger view), and even gave it a fancy, electrifying name: the ElectraSpan.

But all those bells and whistles don't come cheap. If you want this battery in your EVO, you're going to have to shell out $49.95 for it. And to justify the cost, BoxWave tells you that the "regular price" is really $89.95. Mmm hmm. Sure it is.
