Dell Streak honored with CES 2011 Innovations Award
Every year at CES, I manage to sneak into the Las Vegas Convention Center a day before the show officially begins. This year was no different and one of the first places I headed was to Dell's "booth" in South Hall 2. "Booth" is in quotes because it's really just a single table with two chairs behind it.
There were no new products on display but as you can see from the photo I snapped for Pocketables (one of my other sites), the "Streak 5" was one of the company's five products that received CES Innovations Awards.
Behind the table were several stacks of black bags with "Dell Streak" and "Your pocket tablet has arrived" printed on them (see pics below). Companies routinely give out free stuff like this at CES, so it's nice advertising for the Streak since some people use these kinds of bags to carry around all the other swag being passed out. And then other show attendees will see the bag and maybe hunt down the booth to get one of their own.
I'll be at Dell's press conference tomorrow and will report back here with any Streak-related news.
