Laza wraps 3500mAh HTC EVO extended battery in red

We've seen a couple of different 3500mAh HTC EVO extended batteries before (here and here), and this is hardly the first time we've had to look at that replacement battery door (it's used for extended batteries of all sizes), but what makes this $30 combo from Laza noteworthy is actually the wrapper. Yes, the wrapper. It's a simple piece of paper, sure, but it's probably the most appealing simple piece of paper that's ever been wrapped around an extended battery for the EVO.

Everything about it screams HTC EVO to me: the red-and-black color scheme, the Android mascot, and of course the red wrapper that matches the stock battery and the phone's insides.

If you saw a bunch of generic extended batteries for the EVO laid out in a row somewhere, how could you not pick this one up first?

The actual capacity is probably considerably less than the stated capacity, as is the case with most third-party batteries, so judging the battery by its wrapper seems like a reasonable thing to do.

Now if only it came with a clear door . . .
