You didn't think I'd get permission to post pics and specs of the Viliv X7 Android tablet before others and then forget about the X70 Windows 7 slate, did you?

This one is being called the "slimmest and lightest Windows 7-based tablet in the world" and as its model number suggests, it's related to the current X70 EX. Viiv is referring to it as the "second version of the existing model."

CPU: Next-generation Intel CPU

RAM: 1GB / 2GB

SSD: 32GB SATA SSD (64GB available), read/write speeds of 100M/70Mbps

OS: Windows 7 Starter / Home Premium 

Screen: 7-inch (1024×600) Clear Type LCD, 16M color, capacitive multi-touch 

Wireless: 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G or WiMAX or EVDO

Sensors: Accelerometer, ambient light

I/O Ports: HDMI, microUSB, microSDHC

Cameras: 3MP rear camera, 1.3MP front webcam

Battery: 5600 mAh, 21W, 6.5 hours of operation 

Weight: 420 g (0.926 lbs)

Thickness: 14.3mm (0.56")

There's more overlap with the X7 than I expected to see, so I'll have a look at the two products in person when the Viliv booth opens on Thursday to double-check that the specs are accurate.
