iPad event scheduled for March 2nd
One week from now we’ll finally get rid of all those rumors that have been going around for months, heck, since the iPad came out. Apple has invited selected press to an event next Wednesday and the pictures used for the invitation makes it very clear that this is an iPad event (with perhaps a couple of MacBooks thrown in for good measure, who knows). Engadget will be covering the event live as usual, meaning you can go to their site in a week and get text and picture updates as things are announced. Or just wait an hour extra and read all about it here ;)
So what can we expect to see? Anyone’s guess, but my money would be on same resolution screen, same battery life, dual core 1Ghz CPU, 512MB RAM (1GB if we’re lucky but I doubt it), VGA front camera, 720p video-only back camera, gyroscope and some sort of OS update announcement.
