XMatrix hard case for HTC EVO is perforated for flexibility

Evo-xmatrix-case Another day, another case for your HTC EVO.

This time it's the XMatrix Back Cover that looks like a thick silicone skin but is actually a snap-on hard shell. What makes this case stand out from all the other shells, as you can see, is its unique perforated design.

But the perforation isn't just for looks. According to DayDeal, who sells this case in a variety of colors for $15.99 apiece, the holes reduce the weight of the cover and make it less rigid than other hard shells, decreasing the chances of it warping or creasing.

The case is said to be very easy to install (it's just a snap-on, after all) but rather difficult to remove, so if you're looking for a quick on-and-off case, then this isn't it.
