Arnova 10 starts shipping in the US, already on sale

arnova10 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Arnova is Archos’ low price brand- which is rather ironic as Archos is a low price brand themselves. The result of this Matroska effect is a 10″ 1024×600 Android tablet that has a MSRP of $199 and is already on sale for $179. For that price you’ll get a slow Arm based CPU, resistive touchscreen, Android 2.1, microSD slot, front-facing VGA camera and 4GB of internal memory. In other words you’re getting 10″ worth of last year’s tech (at best), but the price point is hard to argue with. Archos’ official specs are listed here and includes some promises of decent video support, so it might be worth looking at this for the video functionality alone. Or just save up for the Transformer.
