Motorola Droid 3 to bring slimmer profile

Motorola's Droid line of devices has been incredibly successful. In fact, some consider the Droids to have been an instrumental key in the incredible success of Android. Sales of the Droid line as a whole have been incredibly high, and they will continue to climb once what you see above is released.

What is it you see above? It's the Droid 3. From a leaked set of pictures, we can see that it is drastically thinner than the current iteration, the Droid 2. The device still manages to keep its physical keyboard while achieving its new thinness.

Of course, this is just a preview of the device. And other than the new shape, we know nothing about it. Hopefully it will be released soon, though, because I am definitely looking forward to this device if a global variation will also be released. If there isn't a global version, then it will be incredibly disappointing to people like myself who can't rely on CDMA all the time.
