Motorola thinks Android is shooting itself in the foot

Untitled-1
Right now, we could all make a pretty lengthy list of problems people think Android currently has, including fragmentation and Google's unwillingness to completely comply with manufacturers and their wishes for the operating system. If we did, Motorola probably wouldn't disagree.

The company is taking these issues so seriously that a new insider report claims that they may be planning their own operating system.

What started as a fantastic relationship between the manufacturer and Google has turned into a conflict of interest between the two. Google obviously wants to tidy up the user experience of Android to make it easier for people to know that Android is, in fact, Android. And Motorola would love to be able to make their own products that people could instantly recognize as theirs.

Given this information about each company, I can only assume that the partnership will continue but that Motorola may still try to differentiate itself by making its own OS.
