One million orders have been set for the HTC Flyer already

HTC-Flyer_1

When I first heard about the HTC Flyer a few weeks back, I was both excited and worried. Excited, because HTC finally broke the streak of average (or just terrible) Android tablets we had been seeing and was one of the first to actually introduce a quality piece of hardware with a unique feature (pressure-sensitive stylus). I was worried, though, because of the fact that not a lot of people would really look at the tablet seriously.

Well, my being worried came to an end today when news broke that HTC may have actually already received a staggering one million pre-orders for its flagship tablet. This is big because the iPad 2 will be released this Friday, and even though the Flyer's 7-inch screen makes it more of a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab, it will still be compared to Apple's new device (like every other tablet that comes out this year).
