Powermat drops prices on HTC EVO wireless charging system and receiver door

Powermat-evo-price-drop Two weeks after Powermat gave out coupon codes good for 15% off its wireless charging products for Valentine's Day, the company has gone ahead and permanently dropped prices by $10 to $20, depending on the item.

The HTC EVO receiver door (mini review here) is now $29.99—down from $39.99—and the complete charging system, which includes the receiver door and one-position charging mat, is now $49.99.

As an added bonus, if you enter the coupon code LOWPRICE during checkout, Powermat will take off an extra 10% off, bringing the respective price of the door and full kit to $27 and $45.

As they often are, Amazon's regular prices are considerably lower ($19.99 for the doorir?t=goodandevo 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B00462QBA6 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here and $39.98 for the systemir?t=goodandevo 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B00462QB60 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here), but is saving some cash worth waiting 3 to 5 weeks for the products to ship? That's something only you and your cable-charging EVO can decide.
