Back at CES, Sony Ericsson unveiled a new Xperia model named the Xperia Arc. While the company revealed most of the details about the device back then (4.2" 854×480 screen, 1GHz Scorpion CPU, Gingerbread, 8MP camera), one major detail was missing: the release date.
Until now, that is. Pocket-lint scored an exclusive date from Mobiles.co.uk about when the Arc will be available for purchase, and that date (according to the website) seems to be March 21st.
Personally, I'm really excited about this phone. Previous Android-powered Sony Ericsson phones have been underpowered and have run older versions of Android. But with the Arc, customers are treated to the latest version of Android and an incredible design, which kind of resembles the Nexus S. It also has Sony's new "Bravia Engine" for the display, which is purported to bring a better picture into a small screen.
