Tamrac MXS5366 makes ideal manbag for Dell Streak with or without case

Dell-streak-tamrac (1) It may not look like much, but StreakSmart reader Joel Crisp says the Tamrac MXS5366 utility pouchir?t=&l=as2&o=1&a=B0009PCX6A - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here ($17) shown at right is the perfect case for his OtterBox Impact-protected Dell Streak.

The tablet fits perfectly in the pouch's large inner pocket, while headphones, cables, or a Bluetooth headset can be stored in the smaller pocket. In addition to its multiple storage compartments, the MXS5366 also features a "really robust belt clip" and elastic bands/straps for holding pens and other items.

The pouch was released more than 5 years ago and as you can see from the photo below, it was originally designed to hold a PDA, small flashlight, multi-tool, and pens/pencils.

Dell-streak-tamrac (2) Joel says the only drawback to using this pouch for his Streak is its size. The Streak encased in OtterBox's thick silicone skin is already quite big, so putting it into the Tamrac bag obviously makes carrying it around pretty bulky.

Then again, just because the Streak is already in a case doesn't mean that you don't still need something to carry it around in. This is generally not an issue for women, since most of us carry purses, but men don't have a whole lot of small choices available to them that aren't fanny packs.

So while the MXS5366 may not be the nicest-looking pouch to clip onto your belt (or shove into your backpack or briefcase), it seems pretty spacious for its size and a decent manly choice for your manpurse needs. Joel says it's also the best pouch he's ever found that isn't too big or too small and that fits the Streak so well. Here are some pics he sent me to prove it:

The Tamrac MXS5366 can be found at several online retailers and various places that sell camera cases (the company is best known for its camera carrying systems).

Dell-streak-tamrac (3) It seems to be priced at $16.95 pretty much everywhere, so unless you can find it in a bargain bin somewhere, that's basically what it will cost you.

Amazon has it in stock and eligible for free shipping from several third-parties right now, so if you're thinking about getting this pouch for your Streak (or other belongings), you'll find some buying options below.
