Unlocked Dell Streak drops to $99.99 when purchased with $699.99+ system, deal lasts until 2012

There's a deal going on at Dell.com right now where you can get an unlocked Dell Streak for just $99 when you buy any computer system (laptop or desktop) configured to be at least $699.99. It's an incredible price, to be sure, but don't let that "limited time offer" notice pressure you into dropping everything to cash in on the deal right now.

According to the discount details, which you can see below, the automatic $480.99 savings on the $579.99 unlocked unit expires on March 14th of next year.

One of the great things about shopping at Dell.com is that there are almost always coupons out there to save you even more. Many of them can be combined, too, which means you could end up getting the device for even less than the already amazing $99 price.

The 10% off coupon I mentioned last week has already expired, but if the computer system you select is a Dell Inspiron or Studio laptop worth more than $799, you can save an additional $50 if you use coupon code 0CQ6F64K$ZCPV$ by March 31st.

You can usually find additional coupons at places like RetailMeNot.com and even Dell's own Coupon Codes & Discounts page.

I wonder if I can get such a price by purchasing it from another country. I’ve tried to place the streak with different laptops together to the cart, but wasn’t offered a discount. If the option only available while ordering from the american IP’s?

I couldn’t get that discouunt to show up when I configured a laptop. Tried a couple different ones. The $99 deal seems to be the same $99 deal they have for signing up to a 2 year contract. When I tried to add the unlocked version it just gave $130 off the price. I couldn’t get the deal even if I wanted to but I was just curious as to the real details behind the deal. Dell hasn’t changed. They are just getting craftier at hiding the truth.

The problem is that it can’t be purchased without plan, but only the phones without plan are engaged into the discount.
