Voddler app for iOS lets you stream movies for free- in Scandinavia

We talk about Hulu and services like that on here so it’s only fair that similar services also gets a mention when the US is not the country the service is limited to. Voddler is a Swedish video streaming service which is basically Spotify for video. It’s currently only available in Scandinavia, which of course incldues my home country of Norway, and lets users stream all sorts of movies both free and paid for (rentals). Their new iOS app just came out and lets Voddler users take video streaming on the go. Unlike Spotify, the mobile app is also free, and even though not all all movies are watchable on the go quite yet it’s getting there (this is why the first movie I try in the video above doesn’t work, I discovered). It’s a nice app if you live in Scandinavia, though it’s rather limited right now- both because there’s no dedicated iPad app and because the selection isn’t the best. It’s quite genius if you have kids though, since there is a bit of kid stuff there.
