Amazon bumps Dell Streak back up to $49.99 with AT&T contract

Streak-50-aw If you were thinking about taking advantage of Amazon's penny pricing on an AT&T-locked Dell Streak, you don't have to think about it anymore.

The deal is over as quietly as it began, with the new and contract extension price now back at $49.99. This is still a great price—and one that you could get from Best Buy since February—but knowing that the Android tablet was available for an even greater price just a few days ago should finally teach you that lesson you never learned about procrastination.

That doesn't mean to swoop in on every deal you see on Amazon, though. An off-contract AT&T-locked Streak is priced at $399.99 over there, and while that's considerably less than the $549.99 Dell will charge you for the same device, you can get an unlocked Streak for $449.99 from Dell.com too.
