Asus EEE Pad Transformers gets reviewed

Anandtech just published a very detailed review of the new Asus EEE Pad Transformer, and for the most part it’s all good. Excellent battery life, mouse functionality when docked, lot of accessory ports and a very nice price point makes the new tablet a winner. On the down side, Honeycomb is still buggy even after the last update, and the software generally lack the stability you’d see on the iPad. The review mentions that the tablet randomly forgets it’s connected to a dock, sometimes requiring a reboot, as well as some pretty peculiar issues with the camera. Still, this looks to be THE Android tablet for a while to come, at least if you also get the dock since that’s really the thing that makes it unique.
