Buy Dell Streak 7 off contract, get free 4G for 30 days (1GB data cap)

When the Dell Streak 7 was released in February, T-Mobile offered a $50 discount to people who bought the device from its website. Now it's Dell.com's turn to save customers $50 by giving them some free data usage on T-Mobile's 3G/4G network.

The carrier's best prepaid "no commitment data pass" is for 1GB of data with a shelf life of 30 days. It normally costs $50 but if you buy the off-contract Streak 7 ($449.99) from Dell.com, you'll get it for free. There are no strings attached to this deal, but there is a thread.

After you buy the Streak 7, you have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for Dell to email you the PIN you need to activate your free pass. In other words, by the time you're able to "enjoy 4G speeds on the go" for free, you won't be able to return the tablet anymore because of Dell's 21-day return policy.

By the way, don't forget that you can also get 4G from AT&T too. Just unlock the Streak 7, insert an AT&T SIM with active data service, and you're good to go.
