Carbon Fiber Magic gets new colors, drops prices of carbon fiber vinyl HTC EVO battery doors

It’s no secret around here that I am head over heels in love with the glossy carbon fiber vinyl HTC EVO battery door from G&E reader Hrshycro‘s Carbon Fiber Magic website. I gushed over the “wet” vinyl a few months ago and have recently learned that the “dry” vinyl-covered back door, which I was using last year, has welcomed two new additions to the family.

Matte Graphite and Matte Silver have joined the palette previously occupied by the original black and white vinyls, boosting the total number of ready-made and DIY choices to six (two glossy, four matte).

Even better news is that Carbon Fiber Magic has reduced the price of the ready-made OEM doors to $19, a cool 24% off the original $25. The lower price applies to all of the vinyl options, which means the cost to enter battery door heaven (i.e., wet vinyl) just got more affordable. Yes, I just equated heaven with this wet vinyl. The matte covers are nice, but the glossy ones are niiiiiiiiiiiice.
