Good and EVO

HTC EVO 4G ranks second in CyanogenMod "installs by device" list

Cm7-supersonic If you've got any version of the popular AOSP-based CyanogenMod custom ROM on your rooted HTC EVO 4G, then you've got a lot of company.

According to the latest CMStats, which keeps track of and lists various statitics of the ROM (total installs, installs by version, and installs by device), your installation of CyanogenMod on the EVO (listed by its Supersonic codename in the chart) is just one of more than 17,150. The only Android phone to beat the EVO by about 5,000 recorded installs at the time of this writing is the HTC Desire (codename Bravo), which was released before the EVO and is available in other countries; the EVO, as you know, is exclusive to the US. Rounding out the top 3 is the Nexus One (codename Passion), also released before the EVO and available around the world.

What does this say about the EVO 4G and its users? It's impossible to draw any solid conclusions based on data like this, but since this is a site dedicated to the EVO and its users, then let's just say it means we're the savviest, smartest, hackiest, funniest, healthiest, tallest, most talented, nicest-smelling, best-looking, and most evolved group of Android folk out there and leave it at that.
