Kickstarter spotlight: PenMoto

Magnetic stylus attachments is something I myself have thought about and conceptualized. Someone on Kickstarter had a similar idea called PenMoto, though instead of attaching the stylus to the tablet they’re attaching it to a ring that you put on your finger. Using two magnets of different size and strength, the stylus can pivot and essentially works as a quick draw system for your stylus (or pen), letting you quickly switch between typing/navigating and using the stylus.

It’s a great idea and something I’d be interested in if they decided to support the Just Mobile AluPen. However, the $40000 funding goal seems quite high for something that is essentially plastic and magnets, so the question is if they will reach the funding goal. Their shipping costs are also going to scare away quite a few people as $10 for Canadian and $15 for International shipping has to be anywhere from 3-10 times more than it would actually cost to ship something like that, at least using postal mail. I hope they succeed though as we need more accessories for our accessories (and I honestly mean that).
