Lonpad A97 is a thin 7-inch Android tablet

Lonpad-A97

Normally when we see tablets from companies whose names are, well, a little less known, we think of chunky form factors, low-resolution screens, and unbearably slow specifications.

But Lonpad have decided, at least somewhat, to break away from the norm. Their new A97 tablet has the specs to compete, such as an A9 processor, half a gig of RAM, and Android 2.2. Okay, cool, right? Specs that are usable. But what makes the A97 really cool?

It's deathly thin. In fact, it measures only 9.9mm. And that's what makes this device so interesting. I hope that some of the bigger names will take this as a challenge, and will create even smaller devices. Of course, just not too small.
