Motorola Xoom gets a software update…still far from working like it should

- for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

The Xoom just god a new software update fixing some issues with the device. Most of it is just bug fixes and minor tweaks, but worth mentioning is addes support for a Bluetooth mouse. The EEE Transformer already had this at launch and while the Xoom doesn’t have that fancy keyboard dock with a trackpad, at least you can now make a DIY Transformer using a Bluetooh mouse and Bluetooth keyboard. Should prove very useful for using with software like Splashtop (which is pre-installed on the Transformer for a reason). Another notable addition is photo import from camera using a new USB adapter. Honestly though, at this point Motorola is just trying to make things right for existing users and new users wanting 3G/4G, as the battle is practically lost on the Wifi market. Still no working microSD slot though, which is proof of just that. Check out the full list of new features at ZDnet.
