Splashtop experimental external connection video preview

As Stuart reported this morning, Splashtop now has an experimental feature that allows you to connect to your computer very easily from any connection, not just a local Wifi network. I used it a few times today and it works nicely, though lag is naturally a bigger problem than on a fast, direct local Wifi connection. Check out the video I shot above to see how it works over 3G.

  • Nice. I wonder how smooth the final release will be.

For an experimental piece of software, it does look quite nice, hopefully the connection isn’t limited by 3G bandwidth
