Sub-$30 Dell Streak dock charges spare battery
If you have the Dell Streak home dock to charge your Streak and an external battery charger to charge a spare battery, then you're using one outlet too many. With this unbranded plastic dock currently available on eBay, you can charge both batteries at the same time using a single accessory plugged into a single outlet.
The Streak sits in the front, where it stays upright for use as a desk clock or optimally angled video player, while an extra battery relaxes in the back so it's ready to go when needed.
The dock does not have an HDMI or line-out port like the official home dock does, but it also doesn't cost $70.
I can't comment on the build quality of this dock since I've never seen one in person, but it looks decent and is reasonably priced at $28 each. Anyone have one?
