Useful iPad apps list

usefulapps - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

The most observant of you might have seen two “internal ads” in the left sidebar over the last couple of months- one for a list of useful iPad apps, one for a list of ways you can use your tablet productively. The latter is now gone (but the concept of it will return in another form in the future) but the iPad app list is still there. I’m writing this now to point your attention to the existence of this list, so that you can all help us keep it up to date! It’s a manually created list of all the iPad apps we talk about on the site that people might find useful, including links to iTunes and relevant articles on the site. The idea came from a reader and is a good one, and the list aims to bring some order to the chaos that is the App Store. We might also do an Android version in time, as soon as we have enough Android coverage to have something to put on the list. Since it’s manually edited though we need help from you to make sure apps get added to the list, by commenting on the app list directly. Only apps that have been mentioned on the site will get added, but if you have useful apps to suggest that we haven’t talked about you can contact us using the link on top of the site and let us know the name and what it does.
